Tripoli Gerlach has a great newsletter that included historical photos of the beginning of the High Powered side:
Here is a link which has some interesting articles from Extreme Rocketry:

It was a good magazine and they did provide interesting bits of information.
The Rocketry Show / Episode #63

Great Show.
I liked the discussions on glue.  I recall several episodes back there was a discussion during the World Space Modeling Championships about the issues of glue. In particular about some rocket areas beginning to have extra flex due to the epoxy they had used becoming soft due to long exposure to the sun while waiting for their launch event.
What type of glues would be better for withstanding high temperatures and light enough to not become a weight issue?
I tried the B4-6 new Quest motor and was a tad unimpressed.  It underperformed and appeared to be a low impulse blackjack style motor. The first igniter did not ignite the motor from the pack. I did then try a Q2G2 igniter and that ignited the new motor. I should have used the B4-4 motor instead for the rocket.  The rocket was fine after the launch just a slight zip from the longer delay.

Cant wait to try them out!

Looks awesome, Rocketaholic. I'd love to see a video of this as well. Shame it was so cloudy outside though. I bet the pics would have been even better had it been a nice and sunny day.

Right now, we're hovering between 1000 and 1400 downloads.

Sometimes it goes up by a few hundred.   But what you see is not that unusual for podcasts.  Even the biggest shows (with 1 or more million listeners) only have maybe one or two people in any given group who are even aware of the program.

So, this typically translates to roughly one person in every club who is even aware of our podcast.  of course, we'd love to have 100% of any group of rocketeers be listeners of our show.   ;)

We can dream, and work towards that.
